VERONICA

Children's Book Author & Workshop Teacher

Veronica Green is a children's book author, dedicated to inspiring new generations of conscious and compassionate humans.  In 2016, Veronica began making her mark in South Florida by publishing children's books that cater to the growing vegan community.  After adapting a completely plant based diet, she quickly became passionate about sharing the benefits of this lifestyle with others.

Her book series, The Adventures of Veggie Vero, is about a vegan superhero who rescues the animals and teaches children about conscious living.  “Conscious living”, says Green, “is about being aware of how our daily choices affect the natural world around us and making an effort to reduce our ecological footprint. Eliminating animal products from our diet is actually the quickest way to reduce that footprint.”   Veronica includes a plant based recipe at the end of each book and offers workshops to educate families on how to make the transition.

Veronica Green has also published a rhyming yoga book for children, titled "Little Yogi Journey".  It takes readers through an easy yoga flow and is designed to calm the mind.  Little Yogi Journey is currently being used in kids yoga studios and home school programs throughout South Florida.  Veronica's most recent project is a children's book titled "Diary of A Plastic Bottle", which encourages children to become more environmentally conscious by reducing their use of plastics.  Kid-friendly workshops with Veronica Green on mindfulness and sustainability are available upon request.

AMANDA

Artist

Amanda Collins is a self-taught artist, with a focus on crafting meditative and reflective mandalas. She realized her love and passion for art at a very young age and has always had a hunger for creating and exploring different styles, mediums, and methods. She utilizes mandalas as a way to portray her inner feelings, sometimes as a way to transmute negative emotions into positive, more centered ones. Her favorite aspect of creating is the inherent need for release of control. She loves how a piece can evolve into something completely unexpected and uniquely beautiful.

Amanda grew up in South Florida and is now married with a sweet daughter, and has another on the way. She loves creating connections, inspiring, and learning from others. Anything related to environmentalism, sustainability, or yoga inspires her journey through art and life. She hopes to help others heal themselves through expressive art, color therapy, mindfulness and meditation as they travel toward the realm of self love.
