Our bodies use energy in the form of sugar, but energetically, so much happens in order for this process to work efficiently. How does our breath fit in? Join Tamara in a slow, detoxifying yoga flow to clear your energy body as you learn about the connection between mind, energy, breath and movement. Prana will flow as we flow together through asanas, and you’ll finish class with a serenade in savasana.
Followed by a conversation with Rebecca on the sugar dilemma. Why are we eating so much of it, how much is hidden in our foods, what sort of devastating effects is it having on our health and ways to avoid it?
We will look at the latest “healthy" sugar alternatives, how they might be used in cooking and how to cut out refined sugar with healthy whole food sweet alternatives.
Workshop ends with a hands on sweet treat demo to take home and share with your special Valentine.
